Private RPC: The Secret to Avoiding MEV Sandwich Attacks

A Private RPC routes your transactions directly to validators, bypassing the public mempool where MEV bots wait to steal your slippage. Essential for meme coin trading.

Private RPC

A Private RPC (Remote Procedure Call) is a dedicated node connection that sends your blockchain transactions directly to miners or validators, completely bypassing the public mempool where predatory bots scan for targets.

If you are trading on Solana or Ethereum without a private RPC, you are trading naked.

Why the Public Mempool is a War Zone

When you click “Swap” on a standard wallet (like Phantom or MetaMask) using default settings, your transaction is broadcast to a public waiting room called the mempool.

In the mempool, your transaction sits for a few milliseconds or seconds waiting to be confirmed. During this window, MEV Bots scan your order. If they see you have a high Slippage tolerance (e.g., 10%), they will mathematically calculate how much they can extract from you, and execute a Sandwich Attack.

They pay a higher network fee to jump in front of your buy order, pump the price, let your buy order execute at the worst possible price, and immediately sell back for a risk-free profit.

How a Private RPC Protects You

When you use a Private RPC, your transaction is never broadcast to the public mempool.

Instead, it is sent via a secure tunnel directly to the block builder (such as Flashbots on Ethereum, or Jito on Solana). The block builder guarantees that your transaction will either be executed exactly as requested, or it will fail entirely. It cannot be sandwiched or front-run by third-party searchers.

How to get one: You don’t need to be a developer to use a Private RPC. Elite sniper bots like Trojan or BullX have private RPC routing and MEV protection built-in by default. Alternatively, you can manually add endpoints like MEV Blocker (Ethereum) or Helius (Solana) directly into your wallet’s network settings.
